A tuning box is a device that adjusts the diesel injection volume and duration, turbo boost and ignition timing. It helps reduce wastes fuel, avoid engine misfire and emissions-related vehicle repair. Most diesel engines get around 35 BHP (brake horsepower) and 70 NM (Newton Meter) of torque. Naturally aspirated non Turbo Petrol cars get an average of 8-16 BHP and 20 NM of torque while Turbo petrol cars obtain 40 BHP and 65 NM of torque from diesel tuning.
